Liz + Karl [Country Club of York Wedding]

Liz and Karl reside in Houston, Texas, but they’re originally from Pennsylvania (they attended the same high school!) These two were elated to tie the knot in their PA hometown with their amazing friends and family.

At their reception, I witnessed one of the most nostalgic moments I’ve ever seen at a wedding. Liz surprised her parents by changing into her mother's wedding dress for the Father-Daughter Dance. Not a dry eye in the entire reception!

Liz shared with me the sentiment behind this:

“Wearing my mom’s wedding dress was about tradition, a strong marriage, and honoring the beauty and strength of my mother.  It was also about the respect I have for both of my parents, and the love, friendship, and laughter I hope to share with my husband for a lifetime.
