Noah + Suzi [Ireland Wedding]
/Several weeks ago I flew to Belfast, Northern Ireland, for this exquisite wedding. I met Suzi about seven years ago when we both lived in Africa, so it was a huge honor to capture her special day. She and Noah are the kindest souls, and you'll see their love radiate in the photos.
The morning began with Suzi getting ready in her childhood home: her parents and sister beaming and soaking in every moment (can we talk about how cute they are in the photo by the car outside their house??)
Let me tell ya, Irish people know how to throw an incredibly fun wedding! The speeches at the reception were some of the most hilarious yet heartwarming I've heard in 10 years of photographing. A common tradition in Ireland is for the bride and the groom to give toasts to each other at the reception...can we please start that trend in the US!? Not a dry eye in the house, as Suzi and Noah declared their appreciation for each other but also for their family/friends who came from Scotland, Canada, and France. "This is like the United Nations," I overheard a guest say. : )
I can't miss this opportunity to say a heartfelt "thank you" to Suzi and Noah but also their family and friends who made this American girl feel instantly welcome! What a blast. Enjoy perusing this elegant Tullyveery House wedding in Ireland.
