Grace + Ian [Conestoga House European Engagement]

It’s evident these two have something special. Their love story began in 2008 when they were in the same place at the same time. They were attending Temple University, and they went to the movies one evening with separate groups of friends but happened to briefly chat. Afterwards, Grace sent their mutual friend a text saying that Ian was cute! And Ian happened to tell the friend the same thing about Grace.

But after that first encounter, they both studied abroad so it was 9 months until they ran into each other again. They instantly hit it off at a mutual friend’s housewarming party. Grace recalls that they spoke in Spanish the entire evening! They set up a time to hang out, and “since then, it’s been an adventure for the books,” Grace says.  

In their downtime, they love hiking, riding bikes, trying new recipes while listening to Frank Sinatra, and traveling around the globe. They spent several years living in Spain as high school English teachers.

Their wedding is next month, and I am so excited. These two have such fun personalities, and their European-inspired engagement session is a new favorite. Rain is just an excuse to cuddle more!
