Ellen + Marshall [Philadelphia Engagement]

Ellen and Marshall met while attending Boston University, where they were on the same committee for the “Alternative Spring Breaks Program.” They got to know each other as their group prepared logistics for the various trips going out from the school; Ellen volunteered in NYC, and Marshall in Georgia. At the university’s winter formal, Marshall gathered the courage to ask Ellen to dance with him. A week later was their first date, and their love has continued to deepen over the last four+ years.

While Marshall and Ellen were enjoying a weekend getaway to New Hampshire, Marshall asked the love of his life to spend forever with him. They’re eagerly preparing for their April wedding in Philadelphia, and I can’t wait to be part of it.

On a recent rainy weekend, they drove from Boston, and we explored Longwood Gardens for their engagement session. As you peruse these photos, I hope you can just feel the love and warmth between these two!
