Mike + Kelly [Lancaster Wedding]
/“I promise to feed your adventurous spirit for as long as we live…you are my greatest adventure.” Those lines from Mike’s wedding vows perfectly capture this incredible couple. Mike + Kelly adore traveling together; in fact, this past summer Mike proposed while they were on top of a mountain in Machu Picchu. They first met each other when Kelly was taking care of her grandmother who was living at a care facility. Mike happened to be a nurse there, and they struck up conversation about their love for rock climbing. The rest is history, and they tied the knot earlier this month (pun intended!) Kelly’s grandmother has passed away, but she was honored throughout the wedding (Kelly pinned her broach on her bouquet, for example.)
As loved ones gathered to celebrate this couple, the energy and support were inexplainable. So many tender, sweet moments throughout the day that I’m excited to share with you below! And how precious are their 8 nieces and nephews in the bridal party!?

Looking sharp, Mike! Thanks to Alysha Christine Photography for second-shooting.
The photo on their invitation was taken moments after he proposed in Machu Picchu! Another way Kelly remembered her grandmother was by incorporating her Bible into the ceremony. Write here...
Such a stunning bride! I love her "I'm getting married" face below! Such excitement.
So sweet watching them interact and enjoy being in each other's company
Their eight nieces and nephews!! They couldn't be cuter. I hope the kids look at this photo with a smile in 30+ years!
Remembering her grandmother by incorporating her pin
These ladies were the sweetest! The four girls on the left are sisters : )
Most of these guys have been buddies since Kindergarten! Such a great group of groomsmen.
So many emotions as Kelly walked down the aisle
Exchanging the vows they wrote each other
When we arrived at the Omar-Smoker farm for the reception, we snuck in a few more portraits with the Fall lighting. Can you find the rocks in the center of her bouquet (to signify their love for climbing)?
Mike and his mom did an amazing, choreographed dance! Kelly and her dad were so sweet to watch.
Their first dance was so elegant
Pay attention to the sequencing here! (Top two and then bottom two.) Kelly wasn't messing around!
Mike's grandparents sharing a quiet moment on the dance floor...married 63 years! Kelly's grandparents won the "who's been married longest" dance--70 years! Absolutely incredible. Look at their joy that just radiates.
