Wedding & Engagement Stories
Grace + Ian [Conestoga House European Engagement]
It’s evident these two have something special. Their love story began in 2008 when they were in the same place at the same time. They were attending Temple University, and they went to the movies one evening with separate groups of friends but happened to briefly chat. Afterwards, Grace sent their mutual friend a text saying that Ian was cute! And Ian happened to tell the friend the same thing about Grace.
New Website Launch and Giveaway!
Pinch me! The day is finally here to launch my new branding & website! I've been working tirelessly the last few months with my designer, Kathryn of Crème Brands, who has been incredible. I envisioned a heartfelt, adventurous brand, and she brought that to life!
Maci + Michael [Pinnacle Overlook Engagement]
Michael noticed a strikingly beautiful girl when he was having dinner on the Altana rooftop in Lancaster City. The night escaped without him talking to her. It just so happened that several weeks later, they ran into each other through mutual friends! And the rest is history.
Emily + Justin
I’ve tried, but I just can’t stop smiling looking through Emily + Justin’s session in a wildflower field at sunset. The golden light danced around them as they giggled together like young lovers do. Despite attending the same high school, they didn’t meet each other until they both ended up in Jamaica (she was on a mission’s trip, and he was visiting his sister who lives there.) They formed an instant friendship, and started dating soon after.
Maggie + Josh [White Chimneys Lancaster Wedding]
This wedding was seen around the globe over the last two weeks! A photo from Maggie & Josh’s wedding went VIRAL: the bride and groom honored their grandmothers by asking them to be the FLOWER GIRLS. Such a sentimental, unique idea. I adore when my couples think outside the box and add personal elements to their wedding day.
Ahna + Gid [Lancaster Wedding]
There is something magnetic about Ahna + Gid. You can’t help but notice that they have something special. The way they treat each other and speak kindly to one another. The way they beam at each other with a huge grin. And also the way they take interest in the lives of others.
Aaron + Julie [Virginia Wedding]
Surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia, Aaron + Julie promised forever. Relaxed and calm, even the threat of thunderstorms couldn’t get them down. They beamed at each other the entire day and celebrated their love…but also celebrated two families coming together.
Amanda + John [Booking House Wedding]
Amanda and John soaked up every moment of their wedding day, despite the crazy variety of weather. After pouring rain and gusty wind, a stunning rainbow appeared! Absolutely everything about this Booking House wedding was dreamy.
Kait + Steve [Philadelphia Engagement]
Whenever Steve got his hair cut at the salon, he looked forward to seeing the pretty, sweet stylist: Kait. After a while he asked her on a date, and they chatted non-stop for five hours swapping stories and perusing photos from Kait’s recent Argentina expedition.
Marisa + Richard [Lancaster Engagement]
To say this couple is adventurous is an understatement. Don't believe me? Their first date was in London, though neither of them lived there! They dated long-distance, across countries for almost a year.
Amanda + John [Lancaster Greenhouse Engagement]
There’s something so romantic about chance encounters that lead to love. When I listen to couples share their stories of this happening, I always marvel at them being in the same spot at the same time… Amanda and John struck up conversation one evening in Philly at a bar.
Noah + Suzanne [Philadelphia Engagement]
Rittenhouse Square is a nostalgic place for Suzanne & Noah, who live in Center City Philadelphia a few blocks away. They've taken many strolls through Rittenhouse, hand-in-hand dreaming of the future. After dating for 5+ years, Noah planned a romantic proposal for the woman he adores: Noah set up a surprise picnic in Rittenhouse Square on a beautiful evening.
