Wedding & Engagement Stories
Lauren + Christian [Autumn Engagement]
Lauren and Christian met at a mutual friend’s wedding, and now they’re planning their own for 2018! These two are beyond delightful to be around; good luck trying NOT to smile as you peruse these pictures (and what a cute pup!!)
Allie + Ryan [Old City Philadelphia Engagement Session]
With the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame in the distance, Ryan proposed to Allie in Paris! Can it get more romantic?? While enjoying a picnic by the Seine River, Ryan realized it was the right time to ask her to spend the rest of their lives together.
Drumore Estate [European Garden Wedding Inspiration]
Ok I admit it, Paris wasn’t on my list of places to explore…until I recently had a layover there on my way home from visiting Morocco. I mustered up the courage to leave the Paris airport at 9pm, just my 50 lb camera backpack and me…no working cell phone, two phrases of French knowledge, and just enough Euros to pay the taxi driver...
Grace + Ian [Conestoga House European Engagement]
It’s evident these two have something special. Their love story began in 2008 when they were in the same place at the same time. They were attending Temple University, and they went to the movies one evening with separate groups of friends but happened to briefly chat. Afterwards, Grace sent their mutual friend a text saying that Ian was cute! And Ian happened to tell the friend the same thing about Grace.
Maci + Michael [Pinnacle Overlook Engagement]
Michael noticed a strikingly beautiful girl when he was having dinner on the Altana rooftop in Lancaster City. The night escaped without him talking to her. It just so happened that several weeks later, they ran into each other through mutual friends! And the rest is history.
Emily + Justin
I’ve tried, but I just can’t stop smiling looking through Emily + Justin’s session in a wildflower field at sunset. The golden light danced around them as they giggled together like young lovers do. Despite attending the same high school, they didn’t meet each other until they both ended up in Jamaica (she was on a mission’s trip, and he was visiting his sister who lives there.) They formed an instant friendship, and started dating soon after.
Kait + Steve [Philadelphia Engagement]
Whenever Steve got his hair cut at the salon, he looked forward to seeing the pretty, sweet stylist: Kait. After a while he asked her on a date, and they chatted non-stop for five hours swapping stories and perusing photos from Kait’s recent Argentina expedition.
Marisa + Richard [Lancaster Engagement]
To say this couple is adventurous is an understatement. Don't believe me? Their first date was in London, though neither of them lived there! They dated long-distance, across countries for almost a year.
Amanda + John [Lancaster Greenhouse Engagement]
There’s something so romantic about chance encounters that lead to love. When I listen to couples share their stories of this happening, I always marvel at them being in the same spot at the same time… Amanda and John struck up conversation one evening in Philly at a bar.
Noah + Suzanne [Philadelphia Engagement]
Rittenhouse Square is a nostalgic place for Suzanne & Noah, who live in Center City Philadelphia a few blocks away. They've taken many strolls through Rittenhouse, hand-in-hand dreaming of the future. After dating for 5+ years, Noah planned a romantic proposal for the woman he adores: Noah set up a surprise picnic in Rittenhouse Square on a beautiful evening.
Cape Town South Africa Engagement Session
When do you feel the most alive? For me, my heart soars whenever I can combine two of my favorite things: traveling + photographing. Capturing this engagement session in Cape Town, South Africa felt like a dream.
