Wedding & Engagement Stories
Liz + Karl [Country Club of York Wedding]
At Liz and Karl’s reception, I witnessed one of the most nostalgic moments I’ve ever seen at a wedding. Liz surprised her parents by changing into her mother's wedding dress for the Father-Daughter Dance. Not a dry eye in the entire reception!
Kelly + Glen [Drumore Estate Wedding]
Kelly and Glen’s garden wedding was one of the most meaningful ceremonies I have ever witnessed. To incorporate both of their backgrounds, they had a Rabbi and a Priest officiate. There was something so beautiful about the blessings spoken over this couple, especially hearing the Jewish blessings in Hebrew.
Jena + Rob [Lititz Engagement]
“He makes the most ordinary things fun,” Jena smiled as she described her fiancé, Rob. On a seemingly “ordinary” road trip together to Maine, she realized this was her person. During their engagement session, it was evident how much fun they have together!
Lauren + Christian [Inn at Leola Village Wedding]
The greatest gift of being a wedding photographer is the super fun people I meet along this journey! Lauren was a bridesmaid in a wedding I photographed in 2014, so I was elated when she booked me for her own wedding.
Gray + Bethany [Conestoga House Engagement]
Two years ago, Bethany's sister adopted several children. At the adoption party, Bethany and Gray were introduced to each other. Their friendship blossomed into love, and Gray proposed by writing a song on the piano. Bethany will be walking down the aisle to it! I'm a fan of couples weaving special touches into their wedding day.
Lindsey + Daniel [Riverdale Manor Wedding]
I absolutely love when couples think outside the box for their décor. Lindsey and her mom hand-crafted paper flowers for the reception. The flowers were a bold pop of color, and they looked amazing with black and white striped linens. The décor definitely gave off Kate Spade vibes! Lindsey accomplished her goal of wanting a unique set-up, something you don’t see at other weddings.
Valerie + Jimmy [Conestoga House Engagement]
Strolling the lavish gardens of the Conestoga House was so much fun with this stunning couple! We laughed our way through the entire session.
Valerie & Jimmy reside in Boston, the city where they met when attending the same college. A mutual friend’s birthday party brought them together, and their relationship endured long distance while Valerie studied abroad in Greece.
Sophia + Darren [Drumore Estate Wedding]
As you walk through the gardens of Drumore Estate, you feel as if you were transported to Europe for the day. Sophia & Darren fell in love with this elegant estate the moment they visited, and you’ll see why! Their wedding day was a gorgeous, spring-time celebration.
Patrick & Katelyn [Hunting Hill Mansion, Ridley Creek]
Rain was forecasted for Patrick and Katelyn's engagement session, but they embraced it! I'm a fan of rainy-day vibes, and I keep two clear umbrellas in my SUV for this exact occasion. I’m thankful for adventurous clients!
Keri & Charles [Spring Orchard Wedding]
A spring wedding in an apple orchard? Yes, please! Charles and Keri's wedding was on his family's property: 100 acres of rolling hills and orchards!
Erin & Andrew [Spring Engagement]
Erin & Andrew met in a unique way: in college, they went on a double-date one evening...but not with each other! They were set up with other people that night. It was several months down the road that they ran into each other and struck up conversation. Clearly it was meant to be. They share a love for fitness, tacos, and the Pittsburgh penguins.
Noah + Suzi [Ireland Wedding]
Several weeks ago I flew to Belfast, Northern Ireland, for this exquisite wedding. I met Suzi about seven years ago when we both lived in Africa, so it was a huge honor to capture her special day. She and Noah are the kindest souls, and you'll see their love radiating in the photos.
